Q. How do I clean my waterproof keyboard and mouse?"

A: SUGGESTED CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS FOR SEAL SHIELD WATERPROOF KEYBOARDS AND MICE:

Before cleaning and/or disinfecting:

1. Turn OFF the POWER to your computer.

2. Disconnect the keyboard/mouse from the USB port by holding the USB connector. (DO NOT REMOVE THE USB CONNECTOR OUT BY PULLING ON THE CABLE!).

3. If you are using a USB - PS/2 connector, please remove it completely before cleaning.

4. Place the Seal Cap USB connector protector securely over the USB connector.

NEVER ALLOW THE USB CONNECTOR TO COME IN CONTACT WITH CLEANING SOLUTION OR WATER WITHOUT THE SEAL CAP USB CONNECTOR PROTECTOR BEING SECURELY IN PLACE

Surface Cleaning:

1. Clean the surface of the product by wiping, brushing, spraying or submersing the keyboard/mice in cleaning solution and/or water using only sponges, cloth towels/rags or soft bristle brushes. DO NOT USE ANY BUFFING PADS, SCRUBBING PADS OR OTHER ABRASIVE CLEANERS.

2. Allow the keyboard/mice to air dry or wipe with a clean, dry cloth.

3. Reconnect the keyboard/mouse to the computer.

4. Turn the POWER back on to the computer

Machine washing:

In addition to any necessary surface cleaning or disinfecting, the Seal Shield waterproof keyboards and mice can also be cleaned by being fully submerged in water, sprayed with a stream of water or placed in the dishwasher (TOP RACK ONLY. 135º F max.)

Cleaners and Disinfectants to use:

You can use most common and commercially available cleaning fluids and disinfectants, including:

• Chlorine based (max 10% solution) - e.g. Chlorox, Novalsan, etc.
• Formaldehyde based - e.g. Formaldehyde Solution 37%, etc.
• Glutaraldehyde based - e.g. Wavicide , Aldacide 200, etc.
• Phenol based - e.g. Lysol I.C., Magna Clean, Tek-Trol, etc.
• Alcohol based - e.g. Cavicide, Isopropyl Alcohol, Medicide (POL-0.3), etc.
• Oxidizing - Hydrogen Peroxide 3% Solution, VikronS, etc.
• Quaternary Ammonium - Roccal-D, Bacto-Sep, Ascend, etc.
• Soap and warm water

DO NOT USE any P etroleum based cleaning fluids (e.g., Gasoline, Mineral Sprits, Turpentine , etc.), Acetone or cleaning solution containing in excess of 10% bleach.
